The Midnight Run is a walking, arts-filled, night-time cultural journey through a city. It gathers strangers and local artists/activists to explore, play and create whilst the city sleeps.

Name: Inua Ellams. Artistic Director.
Location: London, England

Born in Nigeria in 1984, Inua Ellams is an award-winning poet, playwright, performer, theatre— maker, graphic designer and visual artist. He founded the Midnight Run in London 2005 and cites his immigrant background as a key factor of its conception. He brings a nomadic tradition, a cross art-form artistic practice and an unquenchable enthusiasm for play in urban spaces to the Midnight Run. 


Elena

Name: Georgina Bednar. Creative Producer.
Location: London, England.

Georgina was born in N. London and has lived in the city pretty much her whole life bar some escapades abroad. She is a creative producer, improviser and mentor. She has worked at the Barbican, Roundhouse, for Fuel and in 2015 led Almeida Greeks, a cross art form festival at the Almeida Theatre, including 2 of the largest, independent theatre live streams in the UK. She has produced site specific and city based art throughout her career, and also makes a mean cup of tea. 


Georgia

NAME: Georgia Dodsworth. Creative Administrator.
Location: London, England.

Georgia is a writer, arts producer, founder of World of Self-Care and student in her 2nd year of  BA Hons in Performance & Creative Enterprise at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has written about mental health, body positivity and identity and is developing a full length play supported by Soho Theatre’s Writers’ Lab. As a producer, she has worked with Yolanda Mercy, Jade Lewis, Sade Brown, Bridget Minamore and Sabrina Mahfouz. Her passions for creativity and mental health led to the creation of World of Self-Care, a platform to explore using creativity as a tool to face every day challenges
