The Midnight Run is a walking, arts-filled, night-time cultural journey through a city. It gathers strangers and local artists/activists to explore, play and create whilst the city sleeps.
Midnight Run customised books ahead of tonight.
After events in New Zealand and Spain, the 3rd and final Midnight Run of 2014 is taking place in London, this coming Saturday, the 16th of August. We will be playing basket-ball, writing, dancing, thinking, listening and mediating as we drift through the city, from 6pm to 6am, from dusk to dawn. I’m pleased to announce that this event is hydrated by Vita Coco. The starting place will be revealed this Friday night - be patient! Until then allow me to introduce the artists for the night:
Musician: TJ Owusu, TaiChi: Amaia Arbizu, Photographer: Oliver Holms, Poet: Andy Craven-Griffiths and Filmmakers: Michael & Katie Garrett. If you are wondering what a midnight run looks like, watch the little film below.

App Turns NYC Subway Maps Into Interactive Data Visualizations
If you’re a New Yorker who likes to nerd out about maps, urbanism, and data visualization, a new app called Tunnel Vision will be like poetry to your eyes. But even if you’re not into any of those things, it might make dismal waits on subway platforms a little more fun.
Now that’s pretty nifty.
Wow! Urban mapping for the next generation.
The next midnight run! 8 days and counting…
