The Midnight Run is a walking, arts-filled, night-time cultural journey through a city. It gathers strangers and local artists/activists to explore, play and create whilst the city sleeps.

FAQs & Info

what are the timings of the event?

The event will start at 5.45pm and finish at 6am in the morning or 5.45pm to 12:00AM for 'Mini Midnight Runs'. Staying for the full duration of the event is required to get the most out of the experience and interact effectively with the rest of the group. There will be plenty of opportunities for rest and breaks during the event.

What do I need to bring?

Please come dressed for the weather, with comfortable footwear for walking and money to buy snacks and a meal during the night. Details of any other items you need will be communicated to ticketholders before the event.

WHAT ROUTE WILL THE MIDNIGHT RUN TAKE? 

The Midnight Run route has been carefully planned by our team and will cover iconic and alternative outdoors spaces and routes through the featured. Details will be revealed as you go so you can enjoy a feeling of exploration and adventure. If you have any specific questions about the route please contact: info@themnr.com.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

The minimum age for participating in the Midnight Run is 16+. There is no upper age limit however, attendees need to be able to carry their own weight or attend with someone to assist with any accessibility issues they have.

WHERE CAN I BUY OFFICIAL TICKETS? 

Tickets can be purchased directly from The Midnight Run event page or from out partner organisations. 

CAN I GET A REFUND OR EXCHANGE MY TICKET?

Please contact your point of purchase for their refund/exchange policy. Tickets purchased via this website are not eligible for refund but are eligible for exchange. If purchased directly via this website please contact info@themnr.com for exchange requests.

WILL FOOD BE PROVIDED?

There will be opportunities for breaks and rests during the event. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks or there will be a chance to purchase this as we go. There will be time dedicated for the participants to share a meal together – please bring enough money for this evening meal, between £10 and £15 is advised.

WHAT TRANSPORTATION WILL WE BE USING ALONG THE ROUTE? 

The Midnight Run event navigates through the city on foot at a walking pace. There may be need to take a tube/train at some point. Please bring money, an oystercard or contactless payment card (if in London) for this.

IS THE EVENT ACCESSIBLE?

The Midnight Run event navigates the city, outdoors, at night and on foot at a walking pace. There may be low impact sports and physical activities during the event. Any attendees with disability issues should come with assistance or a carer for their issues and make his/her disability type known at the point of purchase. Any specific queries about this should be emailed to info@themnr.com.

WHAT ABOUT MEDICATION? 

Please bring any medication that you would normally take and tell the event facilitator about allergies that you have. Please remember that all medication must be self-administered.
